My favorite food- Japanese food
My favorite food is Japanese food. I like its taste. It has been said that Japanese food is a pleasure for both eyes and mouth. I do agree with the statement, because I think they are really delicious and tasty. 
My favorite restaurant- fast food
My favorite fast food restaurant is Subway. Cold cut trio is my favorite sandwich. To dine at Subway is convenient and the sandwiches they make are delicious and healthy. Therefore, Subway is my favorite restaurant.

Journal 3/8: The survivor game yesterday.
I didn’t play the game on that day. I heard that it was a cheer off. My classmates said that they had a wonderful time. “Whacko!” they said. It’s a pity that I wasn’t playing. I really hope I could attend the activity.
Journal 3/6: A story about Mr. Lion and his other animal friends.
Once upon a time there was a village in Africa. The village was very special. It was full of all kinds of animals, but you can’t find lions there. One day, a lost and famished lion came to the village. The animals were amazed. They’ve never seen a lion before, so they were afraid of it at first. The lion was asking a place to stay for a night, so the animals cleaned a small cabin for him to live. At night, all the animals gathered together for dinner. They invited the lion, too. The lion was asked to introduce himself. Therefore, he said, “I am Mr. Lion. I came from Europe. I was traveling too far that I lost my way home. That’s why I am here. I am looking for a place to stay.” The animals were sad for Mr. Lion, so they asked him to stay with them. Mr. Lion was happy when he heard the invitation. Therefore, he started to become a citizen in the town, and he made a lot of friends there. Mr. Lion was now so happy that he never want to go back to Europe!
Journal 3/1: The feelings I have when preparing for TOEFL.
When I was preparing for my TOEFL exam, I was just worried about it at first. But, after I done my first model test, I was getting anxious. The questions on the test were so hard that I thought I wasn’t able to achieve the grade I was expecting. Therefore, I spent a lot of time practicing it and then I went to the test. After the exam was over, I felt relieved. With the practice I had done, the test wasn’t seemed as hard. Although all the practice took me a lot of time, I think it’s worth it.
Journal 2/27: The kind of professional sports star I want to be.
If I could be a professional sports star, I would like to be a professional soccer player. I will be very rich and have a lot of fame. Fame can bring one a lot of good things and also a lot of bad things. But if one can make good use of it, it will bring only the good things. Therefore, I will use all the fame I got carefully and wisely to prevent bad thing happening to me.
Journal 2/24: Some things that make me happy!
There are a lot of things that can make me happy. Things such as read an interesting story, have a good meal, get a good score, and so on can make me really happy. I am the kind of person who will be happy when nice things happened to me. I don’t care if it’s a big thing or small thing, as long as it’s a nice event, I will be pleased.

Journal 2/22: A funny story that happened during last month
It was the last week of the winter break. I went with my father and some other relatives to fish. At first, I was just watching one of my cousins fishing, then, I decided to give it a try. After I got myself a fishing pole, I started fishing. I sat there for a very long time but there wasn’t any fish biting my bait. So, I just sat there watching my cousin hooked up his fish one after another. Finally, I decided to quit. Immediately after I quitted, the funny thing happened. I gave my fishing pole to my aunt and she hooked up two fish right before my eyes. It was so funny!
